| | Vista Ultimate 'DreamScene' -- no go on X64? Hi, I have Ultimate installed on my X64 system. As part of Windows update I've seen Ultimate extras download (Texas Hold'em; DreamScene). I cannot access DreamScene, and when I've tried downloading DeskScape Animated Wallpapers that seem to rely on the DreamScene technology nothing works. Is this a known issue with X64 systems? If not, can anyone give me directions as to how to invoke and set up animated wallpapers and/or DreamScenes? Many thanks! ~ jfc. |

| | Re: Vista Ultimate 'DreamScene' -- no go on X64? Right click on a blank space on your desktop, select personalise, click on change desktop Background. On the location dropdown select Windows DreamScene Content, then select the one you want. I am on Vista64 Ultimate and like the Waterfall. | | Re: Vista Ultimate 'DreamScene' -- no go on X64? Thanks for your reply John. I can see the DreamScene dropdown listed -- but clicking on it has no effect. Is there a way to reload the Dreamscene software from Windows Update? Thanks! ~ jfc. | | Vista Ultimate 'DreamScene' -- no go on X64? Do you have any dreams installed? I had the same problem on x64. The first download must have been the update to enable dreamscene. Right clicking on the desktop showed a dreamscene preview option but it was greyed out and inaccessible. Then when manually checking for windows updates I got an optional download of dreamscene content. Now clicking on desktop and then personalise and desktop brings up a dialogue box with lots of options to populate the desktop (wallpaper, dreamscene, sample pictures, pictures, videos, solid colours, etc) Selecting dreamscene here gives several videos to use as your desktop.
