Vista - Windows-Installer starts each time I open a program

When I open a program (not all, but a few), Windows-Installer pops up and
tries to re-install Quick-Books even though Quick-Books is already installed.
I have to keep hitting cancel so the other program finally opens. Help please.

Hi Soot4Ever,

Windows Installer has probably sensed that a component of Quick-Books is missing, so it's trying to repair the product. See if reinstalling/repairing Quick-Books helps. If that does not help, follow this route:

- Uninstall Quick-Books
- Use the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility to remove Quick-Books MSI information
- Reinstall Quick-Books
