| | Weird keyboard issue under Vista Hi all I have a weird issue with Vista where, after working fine for a while, the O/S will suddenly go nuts and start responding weirdly to certain keys (for example it happened a short while ago, where every time I pressed 'u' the control panel would open up on accessibility settings). When this happens the only way I see to get the keyboard working again is via a reboot. It's not my keyboard hardware; I have a KVM and can switch to my Linux or Mac and the keyboard is fine; switch back to Vista and its still messed up. The only thing I have been able to correlate this with is that it always seems to start when I have Virtual PC 2007 running an XP VM. But I can run the XP VM plenty of times without it happening, so its possible that there is no connection. It's really annoying; has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas? Thanks g. |
