| | internet works but programs wont connect Internet explorer is up and running, but other programs like Windows media player and AIM are unable to connect to the internet. I dont have a firewall on, so i cant figure out what's wrong. Hope you can help me. |

Run through any other security software you have installed, and also check the Windows firewall, to see if you've inadvertently enabled outbound blocking. ( ' netsh advfirewall show allprofiles ' from an elevated command prompt ) -- Jon |
