| | Vista showing my e6600 processors under UNKNOWN I have a field in my device manager for my e6600 processor, its under unknown, and says Intel processor (listed twice). From what I remember, shouldn't this be listed under processors subtab, not unknown? Vista 64 if that helps. |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Did you build or buy your system? What is the make & model of your motherboard? What does it say it System (Control Panel) for your processor? It should be listed under processors and it's normal for it to be listed twice when you have a duo core or hyperthreading enabled. For now, I would check to see if there is a newer BIOS available for your motherboard. Shawn |
