| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Hi cloud, If the partion was setup from a OEM, then it might be protected from being deleted in Windows. You can boot from the Vista installation DVD and delete the partition from that and then just exit installation so it doesn't mess with anything else. However, I recommend formating it for now (from Vista dvd boot) so you can use that space until you do a reinstall of Vista. Then delete both partitions and create a new one & format it for the whole drive for Vista. Hope this helps, Shawn |

| | Acronis DD Suite 10(Vista) does it....RE: delete an unwanted parti Pricey product but one I had. With the current Vista-compatible update to Acronis Disk director Suite 10, you just right click on the EISA partition, set a drive letter, restart, and the partion is then visible and manipulable as a basic drive. Be careful about your drive leter assgnation.
