| Guest | Flip 3D Aero will not work Has anyone else had the problem, where although you are clicking on Aero it reverts back to Windows Vista Basic and does not switch over. When I hit apply and then OK it acts like it is changing but as soon as I close and open back up it is back on Windows VISTA basic. |

| Guest | RE: Flip 3D Aero will not work Hi I called Dell support and they walked me thru this. I had to go to my start menu and type in MSCONFIG in the search box. A box will pop up and you should click on the tab that says STARTUP. From there I unchecked everything that I loaded on my computer or things that were not critical for the startup. My digital camera crap was there, adobe, google desktop, AOL, quicktime. My rep said that none of this has to do with the startup so it won't hurt anything to uncheck it. I rebooted and my flip 3d was back. All of the junk was some how interferring with AERO loading (Don't ask me how). Anyway I hope this helps someone. | Guest | Re: Flip 3D Aero will not work You might try putting everything back except for Quicktime. I think Quicktime has been isolated as a culprit in this issue already. You could look it up in earlier posts. | Guest | RE: Flip 3D Aero will not work I had this problem for some time. As soon as I moved from Basic to Aero it just reverted, although Aero and Flip 3D worked perfectly in the eary days. I eventually found the problem: there was a conflict with a program which I had installed, even when it was not running. I uninstalled this, and all is now fine. (The program incidentally was U-Lead DVD Movie Factor, bundled with a Sanyo digital still/movie camera. The same program works perfectly with Windows XP. No doubt there are many other programs out there which may have the same effect.) So you might find it helpful to uninstall, as a trial, any recent programs you have installed. I hope this may be of some help. Ronald "Jordzach" wrote: > Has anyone else had the problem, where although you are clicking on Aero it > reverts back to Windows Vista Basic and does not switch over.
