Vista - Live Messenger Freezes Computer

Win Vista Home Edition. When my Computer Logs on it Automatically Opens the
Live Messenger and signs me in. I set it to never log on.

When the Messenger Logs in it Freezes the entire Computer. Nothing works. No
KB, No Mouse, No Keys. Cannot shut the Computer off either. The Power Button
does not respond. Have to pull the Battery and Power Supply. It reboots and
the same thing happens. I had to use Safe Mode to Uninstall Live Messenger.
The Computer now works fine.

Any fixes?
