| | ODBC Problem | msjter40.dll could not be loaded I don't know what happened but suddenly i get the message "unable to load msjter40.dll", and i believe that something has gone wrong and odbc doesn't work any longer. Is there a way to reinstall something and fix this? I tried to solve it by installing the MSOffice2007 Access Database Engine, but no luck. I downloaded the latest MDAC from Microsoft, double clicked it and it unzipped some files. I also tried to do a regsvr32 msjter40.dll but failed. Any suggestions? Nezos |

I suggest you find some documentation on how to install MDAC and make sure you install the right one for Vista. |

But that doesn't mean it's going to be loaded when you install non compliant Vista software on Vista that could have replaced it. |

| | Re: ODBC Problem | msjter40.dll could not be loaded Well the MDAC files are correct, but the file that is not right comes from Microsoft Jet, for which there is no installation for vista, although it was already in the c:\windows\system32 folder. I tried sfc but could not correct the problem although it found a different has for the file msjint40.dll, but nothing for msjter40.dll. I compared with other copies of the files stored in a seperate folder, but they are the same! No solution found yet... You have 180 days of support from MS when you activated Vista. |
