| | Vista mail Contacts Hi All, If someone has found a way of getting your contacts on the same page in Vista mail like you could in Outlook Express I would be eternally gratefull. I know that Mail is totally different to OE but it would be nice to have the contacts on the same page. Thanks |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Hi Bob, I don't know if this is what you mean, for I never used the old OE. Give this a go: 1. open Windows Mail 2. right click on tool bar (Blue bar at top) 3. click on Customize 4. in the left window click on CONTACTS 5. with Contacts highlightes click on the ADD button (in middle) 6. Contacts should now be in the right window. 7. click CLOSE button to apply Now there is a Contact icon on your Toolbar Hope this helps, Shawn |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | I posted through the website. (www.Vistax64.com) I use Windows Mail all the time for mail only though. I only used OE for a few days while I had XP before I upgraded to Vista. Please tell me what you are referring to. Shawn |

It's there by default just like the Address Book icon was in OE. Not what Bob wants. -- Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM http://www.fjsmjs.com Answer in newsgroup. Don't expect an answer to email. |

I just figured it was better than nothing since Vista hasn't included what Bob really wants yet. Maybe one day in a update if enough people complain to MS about it. Regards, Shawn |
