| | Possible solution? I agree with Sinner. Doing a clean install can in many ways help. Upgrading windows xp to vista leaves lots of old files that clogged down your xp in your system which inturn can cause malfunctions or clogs down your vista installation right off that bat. I would recommend starting off fresh with a clean installation. If you having installation programs, consider doing a 'Flat installation' which is where you copy all the dvd's files to your hard drive and run setup.exe from your hard drive within Windows XP SP2. Then choose custom install and select your c:\ I would also recommend backing up your data before upgrading/clean installing if you haven't already done so. Good luck to you! |
