Change computer appearance

Hello and thanks for the help. In Windows 2000 I could go to the computer
properties, select the appearance tab and change universal things like: menu
font size, tooltip appearance, icons spacing, window background, etc. I can't
find this feature in Vista. Specifically, I need to make my menu font size
bigger and my tool tips bigger. But I like the other stuff too. Where did it
go?

Re: Change computer appearance

Right click the desktop, select Personalize, then "Window Color and
Appearance", finally select "Open Classic Appearance Properties ...".

RE: Change computer appearance

That doesn't seem to work. It allows a change but the appearance in Word, PP,
etc doesn't change. Example, I asked the tooltips to be size 14, bright green
and nothing was changed in the applications. I asked the font to be size 16
and it did not become size 16. : ( Any other thoughts? Sheri
