Vista - Screensaver problems - ongoing and intermittant

Sometimes my VISTA screensavers work and sometimes they don't.
Screensaver problems seem to be a common, if minor, annoyance.
Doesn't seem to be related to HID, because I disable that and it doesn't
seem to make a difference.

How common is this, and what is mighty MS doing about it?

Hi,

Problems with screensavers aren't inherint, they are caused by background
applications or processes that either do not terminate properly or interfere
with their initialization. A solution can be found by minimizing what loads
at boot and removing applications that are not Vista compatible.
