Re-installing IE 7 On Vista

Hi,

IE& seems to have got corrupted on Vista.
When I click on the icon nothing happens, it used to work.
I tried doing a Vista Repair but this didnt help.
Also I tried download IE7 from mircrosoft site and it says its the wrong
version.

TIA

Hi,

Click the start orb, type 'iexplore.exe' and hit <enter>. Does this open IE?

Re: Re-installing IE 7 On Vista

Reload Vista. Yes, it will take a few hours to reload the OS, reload your
programs, but after those few hours, everything should be back to normal.
You could spend countless hours trying to fix IE7 and still have problems.
Just a thought.

What if you right click the IE icon on the desktop and choose Start Without
Add-ons?
Or go to Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Internet
Explorer (No Add-ons).
