| | Windows Vista and Dowloading Security Updates HI I have just installed Windows Vista and when trying to complete Windows Security Updates my computer will take an unusal amount of time to download. I have a DSL connection and the computer has just spent 23 hours trying to download some of the updates. Many of the language updates failed. I recently updated an XP machine with the same DSL connection and completed 185 updates in about 2 hours. I get the feeling that there is a setting that throttles the download speed, is the something that I have failed to adjust? THANKS |
