| | What's the .exe or .dll for the default icon for a dial-up connection? A few days ago my desktop (Vista Business) began displaying the generic icons for my high speed connection shotrcut. Ramesh Srinivasan, Microsoft MVP pointed me to the .dll for this icon. Now I have lost the default dial-up icon. Can any-one help? Thanks -- Andrew Aitchison (amhsn@sympatico.ca) |

| | Re: What's the .exe or .dll for the default icon for a dial-up connection? Andrew, After clicking 'Change Icon', Copy & Paste %SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll into the 'Look for icons in this file' box, then click once anywhere in the shown icons area. I think the broadband and dial-up specific icons changed after I updated the drivers for my video card; an ATI Raedon X1300 Pro. Go figure!
