The DFS Replication service apparently is used by people who using a roaming profile to work on multiple machines. I don't, so my DFS Replication service is not running (though I certainly did not disable it -- that I can recall). If you don't use a roaming profile between multiple machines then I'd guess you should just disable the service. In the Start menu, type 'services' in the Search box and open the Services manager from there. Set the DFS service to Manual. |
