Vista - Asus R32-MVP no audio Realtek ALC882

I have instaled Build 5384, but no sound is coming from any of the outputs,
the only device shown in the device manager is High Definition Audio device,
but in the volume setings there is no audio output device detected, have
tried
Realtek Vista Drivers, but fail to install (5265)

I'm running a ASUS P4P800S-X mobo it has Soundmax Digital audio onboard and
when I installed vista it also had no sound
So I installed the old Xp driver for my onboard sound and it worked after a
few setup failiures I had to run the installation in compatibility mode but
all is fine now

OK yesterday i found a way to instal audio. On the Motherboard CD there is a
Directory with drivers for audio for 64 bits, i ran the instalation program
but with compatibility mode for windows server 2003, and the audio was fixed
