Yes, you have to pay for the full version with all the features. Only the basic version is free.

Well, if the author has a bad attitude then I just don't know then about the program. We'll just have to wait and see until they have a release that's not a Beta.

also there is nothing useful in the free version. you have to buy the upgrade to get anything useful.

Not exactly true--runs fine for many. Maybe even most.
Not exactly true--consolidates many settings/tweaks into one 'control panel'
so no need to navigate around trying to remember where those settings can be
changed within Vista.

Never had a problem with the authors' attitude.
