How Do I change the All Programs menu style?

In XP the All Programs menu displays as a large flyout across the screen,
which I like as I have many programs installed. In Vista, the All Programs
menu is displayed as a single vertical column with a scroll bar, which I
detest! Can this be changed to the XP style? I have looked in many places,
but to no avail.

"Pairodocs"

Right click taskbar>properties>start menu, change to
'classic style menu'
click apply, click OK.

Your will then have the old Xp style menus.

Re: How Do I change the All Programs menu style?

Hi,
It sounds like you want the Classic Start Menu. Right-click the Start
button> Properties> Classic Start Menu.

Hope this helps,

The the new menu is great if you get rid of every folder and just have all the shortcuts in one menu or the other. Just move the short-cuts up and delete the folders, feels better to use when theres no folders in the menu. lol

I agree. The search thing is nice, but when you have many apps you can
forget the names, and it is very easy to forget about secondary applets that
come with many apps.
