Can't open Outlook 2007 at all

Hello Everyone,

All of a sudden, when I try to open Outlook 2007 running Vista Home Premium,
nothing happens. There is no error message or anything. I'm able to open
Word and Excel with no problem. I just can't open Outlook.
Thanks in advance.

Open task manager and end task on all the outlook.exe that is still
running...then try to open. Seems outlook 2007 has a bug in it....this has
happened to me on 4 different machines....3 xp and 1 Vista.

Re: Can't open Outlook 2007 at all

Wow, Rick!!! That worked GREAT. There were a bunch of those Outlook.exe
files running. After I ended about 20 of them, Outlook just opened by
itself. I'm very grateful!!! Thanks so much!

Re: Can't open Outlook 2007 at all

Try this go to Start Run and type: outlook.exe /safe (yes there is a space
between exe and /) See if Outlook starts in safe mode and then close it and
try to restart it normally. If it does not start normally go back to the the
above method and once in Outlook go to Help and choose detect and repair.
You may or may not need the Office disk for the repair to complete.
