| | Restoring Folder in Recycle Bin & Renaming Folders I have a brand new notebook with Windows Vista Home Premium. There's a folder that I put in the Recycle Bin that I want to restore, but it just stays in the Recycle Bin. I try to drag and drop it out onto the desktop, and it just goes right back in the Recycle Bin. I don't understand what's going on, especially since I have administrator privileges on my user. The other problem is that I can't rename folders. I right-click, type in the new name, and then as soon as I hit enter, it reverts back to "New Folder." Crazy thing it that both my fiance and I have the exact same problems, even though we have different notebooks (both new, but different brands running Windows Vista Home Premium). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!! |

| | RE: Restoring Folder in Recycle Bin & Renaming Folders I'm still having these problems, and despite searching the internet and finding tons of other people having the same problem, I've yet to find an answer. Neither Toshiba or Microsoft will help me, all they do is refer me to the other company (because I bought a laptop that had Vista already installed on it). It's so FRUSTRATING to buy a new computer and have it not work right, and then have the companies who sold it to you essentially refuse to help. If anyone has any suggestions, please reply!! Thanks!!
