Nero 7 does not work well with Vista. I've never gotten it to work right.
And on a couple of PC's running Vista it just would not install at all.
Forget that bloated suite and use something else.

I downloaded the latest version yesterday 7.9.6.0, it was 180,351,392 bytes
(171MB) not 228. It works well on Vista, much better than the last release
which got stuck updating multisession cds. I don't know what that is you're

I have three computers running Vista; two desktops and a notebook. All
three run Nero 7 just fine; no problems whatsoever.

Do a custom install of Nero and install only the parts you need!

It works fine for me!

My copy of Nero 7 is working perfectly with Vista.

My experience is the opposite.
On a number of PC's it installed flawlessly & has never been a problem.
