| | lost my dual-boot... Trying out some software, the Webroot antivirus/spyware SpySweeper package, I found the product unacceptable for my needs. So I removed it/uninstalled it. It requires a reboot when you do so. Upon the reboot I no longer had my dual-boot: XP Pro on my C drive, Vista ultimate on my F drive, although all of my data on both drives was still there. What is the easiest way of recovering my dual boots? Thanks! Ross |

The suffix "-pro" implies it costs something. My fingers are opposed to that...... Ross |

Now to try to get my network browsing to work: the userID/loginID and password on both the remote machine and my local machine are the same. I can access all the files by UNC name. However, the machine name as well as their attached printers (and my ability to browse on the machines) disappeared simultaneously with my uninstall of the Webroot product (which also killed my dual-boot menu!) Any ideas? Thanks! Ross |
