Is it True--No re-install?

In following this thred of posts and wanting Vista, I was just wondering, as
many times as I've re-installed XP over the years --- is it true that (if I
bought Vista Home Premium) It can't be re-installed?

If so, how many times can I re-activate Vista?

Hi Ijay1--

You've been listening to the wrong gossips. You buy a legit Vista. and you
can install it and reinstall an infinite number of times. You may have to
call them using the number on the activation wizard if you install hdw or
for some other reason install it too many times in a time interval, but that
hasn't really changed from XP.

You bought it, you can install it, but of course one product key for one
machine at one time.

Good luck,

CH

Where did you hear that? Certainly not in this newsgroup. Vista can be
reinstalled as many times as you want on the same computer. If it's a
retail version it can be moved to a different computer if removed from the
first one. For OEM versions, as with XP, it's tied by the license to the
first computer on which it's installed and can't be moved.

Same as above.
