Inserting Text for paint

I just got a new computer with windows vista which I am fairly new to. I am
trying to insert test in the MS paint, but the button is disabled or
something and will not let me. Anyone know what to do? Thank you

RE: Inserting Text for paint

ok Sparrow, After some trial and error, I figured it out ! YIPPEE

1. open start menu, left click all programs
2.left click acessories and find PAINT
3 Highlight Paint and right click
4. under OPEN you will see "run as administrator" left click that.
it will ask if you wish to continue that action,.. select yes
after that, It should work for you, it did for me.
Hope this helps you ! Best of luck with your new Vista

Re: Inserting Text for paint

Sure does!

I wonder who decided that adding text to an image should be restricted
to *the* administrator (not just anybody, or even accounts with admin
authority)? And, how didi it pass usability tests?.
