| | SsiEfr.ex program not found - skipping AUTOCHECK A few people have emailed me individually to see if I had a solution to the above when Vista boots. I have no permanent solution, but thought I would post the temporary one. I think it might be a conflict between Diskeeper 2007 and Webroot Spysweeper? Anyway, I opened the regedit and did a 'find' SsiEfr.ex This came up with a line containing autocheck and I double clicked on it, this opened a box with a list of SsiEfr.exe with ONE SsiEfr.ex a bit down the list. I deleted this and the machine booted without the annoying message. Eventually it came back and I then tried the same thing, but added an e to the ex and sicen then no more issues! Hope that helps Billy |
