| | Re: How to change folder icon in documents folder Hi John-- You can probably color folder icons by using a 3rd party icon colorer like "Iconoid" free from www.silysot.com and there are many others. I don't know a way to make a folder Documents or in Documents "green" unless you encrypt folders and they get colored that way that is native to Windows. My 'Documents' folder does NOT have a customise button, but other beige yellow folder have a customize tab. What I am thinking is this: if truly this is the Documents folder and it turned yellow, that a surprise. However, if it has a customize tab then its an impostor, and you could a) Change its appearance. b) Troubleshoot how the impostor got there.
