| | Re: where can i downloand sound drives(adi1985) for windows vista Sometime the generic XP drivers will install to get the sound working-I had to install generic XP yamaha drivers for my yamaha sound to work. They came in an application and I ran the application and my sound worked. See if you can get a set of drivers for XP from the manufacturer and try installing from the application. | | Re: where can i downloand sound drives(adi1985) for windows vista ADI 1985 appears to be your mobo. It uses ADI Ad1888 integrated sound. You need to check with the mobo manufacturer to see if Vista drivers are available for sound. There is no guarantee that the XP driver that you have will work in Vista. If you attempted to install that driver then it appears not to be the right one for Vista. It is possible that there is no Vista driver. | | Re: where can i downloand sound drives(adi1985) for windows vista try going into your device manager and updating the drivers. Right click my computer, properties, hardware, device manager. You will no doubt see a RED X, or an ! or ?. This means there is a problem with this device. Click the + beside the device then right click on the device, properties, and enter the driver tab. There is an option in there to update driver. If it will not update, You need to contact your OEM and get a drivers and utilities cd sent to you. hope ths helps.
