Works Suite 2000 and Vista

My old system came with Microsoft Works Suite 2000 pre-installed, which I
used frequently, and I still have all the original disks for it. My mother
is getting the old computer and she won't need these programs so I would
like to remove them from my old system and install them on my new Vista
computer.

Is this plan feasible? Will MS Works Suite 2000 run with Vista? Would I be
violating some MS rule about transferring pre-installed software from one
system to another?

Technically, this an OEM version of Works Suite 2000 and it will violate
the EULA to install it and run it on another computer. It's your
decision whether you wish to try.

If it was pre-installed on the old system that's where it must stay. OEM
Software is always tied to the original computer.
