Vista & Outlook 2003 Issue

I am running Vista on a new laptop and am reinstalling Office Pro 2003 and
when I open Outlook I recv. an error message:
"Cannot start Outlook;MAPI32.DLL is corrupt or wrong version. This could
have been caused by installing other messaging software. Please reinstall
Outlook."

I have reistalled twice and can't get rid of it! What am I doing wrong?
