| Guest | Re: Error 0x80072F8F Not sure of the actual error numbers (they are at work, and I am not) but are you running any virtual drive software? It's been causing a lot of activation issues. (no other software was installed) "Bones" wrote: > Not sure of the actual error numbers (they are at work, and I am not) but > are you running any virtual drive software? | Guest | RE: Error 0x80072F8F same here and I'm starting to get ticked off. I tried activating ti normally and got this error, so I tried activation by phone and it says to call a number to get an installation ID (since I have no clue where to find mine) and it doesnt give you one it just asks for it. tried customer service and the guy tells me "go to ur start menu, then go to programs, then go to properties" I just said nevermind at this since I couldnt find programs, I did try all programs but couldnt figure out wat he ment so i tried right clicking all programs and going to properties....that isnt helpful. If any1 could help with this error or lemme know how to find my installation ID i would appreciate it.
