IIS Probs

In trying to install/turn on my IIS Web Application Development Features,
I'm hitting a brick wall: when turning on, for example, ASP, I get the OK
button, my system churns for a considerable amount of time and then the
install fails with the informative message of "An error has occurred. Not
all of the features were successfully changed."

Any idea of what might be going on? Long and short of it is simply that it
seems I am not able to turn on IIS in my Vista Ultimate!

I don't know what you mean by trying to turn on your Web development
features. All I did was install IIS7 with IIS6 Management and enabled the
WEB service. I didn't have to enable ASP anything. I am able to develop
ASP.NET solutions right out the gate.

What are you talking about ASP 3.0 or later development?

Can you list the steps you're doing?

I am using Ultimate.
