| | Icons suddenly enlarge (bug?) Whenever I connect my laptop to a projection machine all the icons goto the X-large size yet the taskbar etc. stays at the original resolution. THe only way to fix this is to reboot while the overhead is connected. If I disconnect fron the overhead without rebooting the icons don't change back. THis seems to happen when I change the disply to show on both the overhead and my desktop. Under XP this kind of thing never happened. Any clues? Is it a setting or a bug? THanks in advance, -John |

| | Re: Icons suddenly enlarge (bug?) Hi JB-- It probably is a bug and somewhat related to the bug where you have Icons large and they revert to a small size and then sometimes boot up to large size and sometimes don't. However you shouldn't have to reboot. Have you tried just right clicking the desktop>view and choosing icon size on the context menu. That should get them back until the next time the bug upsets them. You could contact the shell team on their blog to inquire further. http://shellrevealed.com CH "JB" <JB@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:52FB2496-A686-4D85-BAD0-8CF1152839FE@microsoft.com... > Whenever I connect my laptop to a projection machine all the icons goto > the > X-large size yet the taskbar etc. stays at the original resolution.
