| | Re: Quicken 2007 installation failure I had to install Quicken 2007 in Windows XP compatibility mode. But it is working fine under Vista. Right-click the setup file, select properties then compatibility. Carl |

I had to allow Quicken to start the wizard process of creating a new file, close it and then open my existing data file. Other than that, no issue in Quicken 2007 with Vista. |

I've installed Quicken 2007 on Vista Ultimate 64bit and it gave me no problem at all. Did you try removing it completely and then installing with UAC turned off? That's how I did it but that may or may not work for you. BTW, what are you using for a mouse? I found Logitech's SetPoint conflicts with Quicken Billminder, just a heads up in case you get Quicken installed and have a Billminder problem. My fix was to change mice and use MSFT's Intellipoint. -- XS11E, Killing all posts from Google Groups The Usenet Improvement Project: http://blinkynet.net/comp/uip5.html |

| | Re: Quicken 2007 installation failure Just to let people know, this also works (letting it setup a new account) with getting older versions to work as well. Mine was 2003. |
