| | Windows Explorer. Hi all, Is it possible under Windows Vista Ultimate to display "Windows Explorer" the way it used to display under XP, 2000, ME, etc? For example, can Vista be set to display the Navigation Pane constantly and keep it that way? At the moment, when I click on an item in the Navigation Pane, Windows Explorer goes into full screen. I would also prefer to have it set so that it displays the way it does when I click on the "Explorer" icon in the Windows folder in XP, etc. Doing it this way displays the Navigation Pane listing "Desktop" at the top, going through all my drives and ending up with "Recycle Bin" at the bottom of the list. By default the system drive is highlighted. I don't want "My Documents" displayed by default as I already know what's in My Documents and can get to it easier by clicking on the Start button. 99% of the time when I open Windows Explorer I don't want to look at My Documents, I want to add a folder to "Program Files", delete folders, temp files, cookies, etc. Thanks in advance, Dave. |
