| Guest | Internet Access for Programs My Windows Vista Business machine at work is preventing non-Microsoft programs from gaining access to the internet, specifically Firefox and AIM. We are connected through a domain but I confirmed that there are not any domain settings that would restrict this. The other Vista Business machine here does the same thing. Any idea how I can fix this? Thanks |

| Guest | Re: Internet Access for Programs Maybe it's blocked by a firewall. Can you access websites with MS IE7? Is your computer connected to a network? How is the network connected to the internet? Can you see & connect to other computers? I think you're going to have to provide more info before someone can help.
