Problems that don't exist

Using Vista Business edition.

I got a popup with a list of "problems" that I didn't know I had, with links
to update sites. These include PowerDVD Deluxe, Flash Player, and Adobe
Acrobat.

I downloaded the updates and tried to install, but for each one of them
Vista popped up an error message saying the required software was not found
on my computer. So I have programs installed on my computer that run without
a problem, then Vista tells me they have a problem, then it says I don't
have the programs.

WTF???
