| | error= 800BO100 On my 3-month old Dell Dimension E521 with Vista Home Premium Ithe downloading of MS-updates happens automatically, no problem so far with this item. However, today 6 updates went smoothly but the last one showed error 800BO100, I tried 5 times to get it installed anyhow, the result was always negative. I searched for an explanation or support in KB-articles but found none. Thanks for your help. Joan.M.Lee. |

| | Re: error= 800BO100 This is John, a customer advocate at Dell headquarters. The only thing I could find regarding that error was a list of old DOS errors here http://megos.ch/support/doserrors_e.txt. It would appear that there is an error in file. I would try to download the file and save it to disk. You should be able to find the update in the Microsoft download center if you get the update's file name from your error log: Microsoft Download Center It really just sounds like the download is being corrupted. |
