| | Have Vista Home Premium - is "Business" or "Ultimate" better? This laptop came with Vista Home Premium, and despite a few bumps in the road I like it a lot. Our firm can install Business or Ultimate at no cost to me. Will that be a significant improvement? Thanks, gurus |

| | Re: Have Vista Home Premium - is "Business" or "Ultimate" better? Improvement in what? All editions of Windows Vista perform equally well. Windows Vista Ultimate or Business simply include additional features. It depends entirely on whether you need or want any of the extra features in one of those versions. For most home users, it wouldn't matter at all. On the other hand, there's really no downside to getting Ultimate, so why not do so if it's free. -- Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP Windows - Shell/User Please Reply to the Newsgroup |

Thanks! |

There are, of course, third party alternatives available but must be purchased separately. -- Michael Solomon Backup is a PC user's best friend DTS-L.Org: http://www.dts-l.org/ |

If for no other reason, the networking in Ultimate is way better. Lang |
