IE doesn't remember the last download folder

I am running Vista on my computer. When I am in Internet Explorer and I
download programs or pictures IE doesn't remember the last download folder
like in previous versions. How do I set IE to remember the last download
folder?

You need to train Vista.

Normally it will want to save pictures under your user name under
images. For me, that's the wrong folder on the wrong drive.

When you see a picture you want to save on the web, right click on it
in IE7, then save picture. When the window comes up at the very top
navigate to where on your system you want to save the pictures. For me
it happens to be F:\download. Once you save one in your preferred
location it should remember until you again change it. Operative word
is should remember. <wink>

I'm having the same frustration as the original poster and its not
remembering where I want it to save pictures at all.
