Lost html and mhtml file icons

After installing Office Home and Student 2007 and several important &
recommended updates on my Vista Ultimate 64bit machine html & mhtml file
icons are no longer displayed, yet these files still open successfully with
Internet Explorer, is there a way of restoring the icons, for example using
regsvr32 on an appropriate dll file?.

Just an idea - change the associations to notepad then back again to IE7.
The IE7 icon should click in?

Re: Lost html and mhtml file icons

Thanks! this worked partially, changing mhtml file association to notepad
then attempting to open the file brings up a dialog box within Internet
Explorer allowing Internet Explorer to be chosen as the default browser
actually restored both icons.
