Vista - winsxs

Hi all.

In the windows folder (Vista) I have a folder called "winsxs", it contains
20,000 files and is nearly 4 Gigglebyes!!!!!
What's in it? do I need all that stuff? can I delete what's inside?

Various different versions of things like DLL files for 3rd party software,
manifests and the like.

Only if you think that Windows not working properly is a good thing.
