| | Missing Data - Control Panel\Programs and Features Greetings! I was out of the room while the machine was doing a routine backup tonight(Acronis® True Image Home® version 10.0), when I heard my "startup sounds". I found that the machine had rebooted itself in the middle of the backup, and when Vista came up again there were several programs completely missing and a couple that wouldn't start properly because of missing components. To make a long story short, I was able to restore everything I've been able to find that was messed up except for "program listings" in Control Panel\Programs and Features (add-remove). I'm not sure of the exact number of listings that section, but it was well over 100 programs that were listed, and now there are just 62. Can anyone tell me where I can locate the appropriate data in my backups? I have several "complete" sets, the latest from this AM, so I can restore if I can find out what to look for. Any help appreciated .......... -- Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most! |
