Show Dial-Up Connection on System Tray?

I'm new to Vista and am still trying to get use to it. I have DSL on
a Local Network (shared with laptop), and use Dial-Up as a backup. In
XP, when connected via the Dial-Up, the connection would be shown on
the System Tray. So far, in Vista, it is not shown when connected.
How do I get the connection to show on the System Tray in Vista when
connected?

Thanks

Re: Show Dial-Up Connection on System Tray?

Right click the Start Orb on the Taskbar, select Properties, Notification Area
tab, check Network system icon

Re: Show Dial-Up Connection on System Tray?

Thanks for the reply. I looked at that and the Network Icon is
already checked. Any other thoughts?
