| | IPConfig /All Window Closes immediately When I type Ipconfig /all in the Run option, the window flashed for a second then closes. I need to save the data to research a wireless problem. How do I get the window to stay open? Thanks |

| | Re: IPConfig /All Window Closes immediately Open a command prompt (Run | cmd) and type IPCONFIG /ALL. When you do it in the Run box, when the command finishes, it defaults to closing the window. The CMD box doesn't close until you tell it to. Hope this helps. -- Dustin Harper dharper@vistarip.com http://www.vistarip.com -- "Walt" <Walt@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:AF47FA96-0EDD-46BC-B555-B4CEED05F333@microsoft.com... > When I type Ipconfig /all in the Run option, the window flashed for a > second > then closes. You can do it all with one Run command: cmd /k ipconfig /all The /k parameter tells cmd to leave the window open. -- Jay (remove dashes for legal email address) |
