| Guest | Shut Down Options Is there a way to have a shutdown button on the desktop? I have always thought it strange to use the start button to stop the machine. |

Hi Mark, Yes there is, but read all of the cautions first before deciding that this is a good idea for you: http://www.mindspring.com/~anorton1/Vista_Icons.html I also show how to create a 'Continue' icon in case you double-click the Shutdown icon by accident or change your mind. You can create a shortcut to shutdown.exe (with valid parameters) on the desktop. Alternately, you can configure the Power button to shutdown the system when clicked.
