Vista - Wake from Sleep mode

Have an Acer (model ASE380) desktop running Vista premium. When initially
received it would not wake from sleep mode, but after changing USB ports for
mouse and keyboard it would wake up satisfactorily. Then I added a gig of
ram for a total of 2. Now it will not wake from sleep, all sorts of things
happen, sometimes no video at all, sometimes mouse is locked, and at times
other issues, problem is not always the same.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

From what you've posted, there was a problem with this right out of the box,
albeit one you corrected. Nonetheless, you really should have contacted
Acer right away. If you are still in warranty, I would certainly do so as
this may be some sort of ongoing hardware issue.

Can you confirm if removing the new memory rectifies your problems, or is
the new memory coincidental?
