window media player not running

I can't get my windows media player to run at all on vista. When I double
click on the shortcut to open the player it doesn't do anything, when I go in
through the menu and select the player it will not do anything and when i try
to open videos from my email on it, it will not do anything. I can't get the
screen to even come up. Can someone help me with this????

Re: window media player not running

Is there anything recorded in the Vista event logs related to this?

Start/Orb, type event, click on Event Viewer

Re: window media player not running

You can also find it in the Administrative Tools folder in the Control Panel
(you may need to switch to Classic Mode to see it...).

Did you install SatelliteTVforPC on this machine at some point? When did
this start happening?
