    What is "WINDOWS_WCP_OTHER_FAILURE2"????

Every day dozens of new events appear as problems in my Vista Ultimate
system. They are all under the heading of Windows Modules Installer and the
following details are provided for each:-

    Problem Event Name: WINDOWS_WCP_OTHER_FAILURE2

    OsVersion: 6,0.6000

    File: base\xmf\udom_xmlcursor.cpp

    Function: CxmlCursor.:Next

    Line: 47

    Status: c000a083

    OS Version: 6.0.6000.200.256.1

    Locale: 2057

    Bucketed: 12397978

Can anyone please offer any help on solving this persistent problem?

I don't have a solution for you but if it's any consolation, I get those on
a regular basis as well. Don't worry, Microsoft will let you know when they
    have a solution! Hah!

    Hi Bob,

Thanks for the response. It is actually a relief to know that it is not
just me who is experiencing these problems. I now have over 200 of these
problems listed and every one has been automatically passed to Microsoft.
As you say, perhaps they will do something about it - especially if everyone
else sets up their system to report automatically!
